How it works
From idea to quote in three steps

Start from a ready layout (stage, L-shape, catwalk, choir tiers) or click lime squares to place decks one by one.

Set it up
Mix 1x1m and 1m x 520mm modules, set each deck from 200 to 1000mm, choose Platinum or SteelCity, add steps, handrails, skirting and a storage trolley.

Send it
Press "Send this stage as a quote". Your exact layout reaches our team in Sheffield and we confirm the price within one working day.
Two module sizes
Full and half modules
Every NexGen range comes in two deck sizes. The half module is exactly the width of a full deck and just over half the depth, so it lines up with everything else. Use it to make a 2.5m deep stage, a narrow choir tier or an access step.

Is the price on screen the final price?
It is an estimate from the per-module prices on portablestage.co.uk, before VAT. We check every layout by hand and confirm the final quote within one working day, including delivery.
Which heights can I choose?
Riser legs come in 200, 300, 400, 600, 800 and 1000mm, for both module sizes. Each deck can have its own height, which is how choir tiers and stepped stages are built.
How are the access steps worked out?
Steps are 1m x 520mm modules set one riser height lower each time: a 600mm stage gets 400 and 200mm steps, a 1000mm stage gets 800, 600, 400 and 200mm.
Who gets ECAL funding?
Schools, charities, arts and leisure organisations get 10% plus discount funding on NexGen staging. Switch on "ECAL Funding" in the builder to see your price.
Can I share my design?
Yes. "Copy link" saves the exact stage in the link, so anyone who opens it sees the same layout, heights and options.
Where do I pay and see my invoices?
Quotes, proposals, orders and invoices are handled on our main site, portablestage.co.uk.
